Attested copy of online birth registration certificate should be submitted along with the admission application form for determining the age of the student. Students with special needs can be given a maximum of 5) additional years in determining their age. The academic year will be from 1st January to 31st December. Apart from preparing the list of students selected through digital lottery, a waiting list of equal number of vacant seats should also be prepared. If the selected students are not admitted on the date fixed by the admission committee, admission should be arranged in the order of the list from the waiting list. Continuity of order of list of published results should be maintained. If the seats become vacant at any time during the academic year, the seats should be filled by admission in order from the published waiting list. No examination of any kind will be accepted for admission of students from Entry/Class I to Class IX at any time during the academic year.
The policy also states that the Dhaka Metropolitan Admission Committee will take measures to send the list of students selected through digital lottery to their respective educational institutions. According to the list, the admission committee of the educational institution will take necessary steps for admission as per the scheduled date after verifying the documents (if applicable).
Dhaka Metropolitan Admission Committee will centrally circulate circulars regarding digital lottery for selection of students from 1st to 9th class in private secondary schools across the country. Admission committee of Dhaka city will arrange wide publicity by publishing website notice in national newspaper. Besides, the concerned admission committee, the concerned educational institution can make arrangements for local notification dissemination.
If an educational institution cannot connect with the central online admission process due to any logical reason; The admission process should be carried out by selecting students through digital lottery under their own management after taking the prior permission of the Ministry of Education. However, in that case, the presence of the representative of the Ministry of Education, the representative of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, and the representative of the relevant admission committee must be ensured on the day of the lottery.
Digital Lottery Event and Result Generation Process:
After completing the online application process of the students who want to get admission within the stipulated time, the technical support organization will provide all the information about the application and digital lottery results to the Dhaka Metropolitan Admission Committee.
